Good Posture – Healthy Mind
IF YOU HAVE never had someone criticise your posture at some point in your life, then I applaud you! Chances are that you are happier, look fitter and are more confident than the rest of us!
Do you instinctively pull your shoulders back or suck your belly in when you catch your reflection in a mirror or shop window? Can you still remember when your parent, teacher, fitness coach, therapist or friend remarked on your posture? If this is you, then you also know how hard it is to correct, especially for more than a few minutes at a time! However, the evidence shows that we should all be trying a little bit harder, because the way we stand, sit and walk can have a profound effect on our overall wellbeing.
